Everything Mary did from No More Drama album and before is classic.

Dont know how she fell off .

She ultimately had "no more drama in her life...", so her perspective changed. Or, she doesn't write her songs in the first place, and it was a fluke. I believe it was the production value more than anything with the soul samples. I honestly think Mariah Carey was the better singer back in the dayz.

I Got every Mariah album "G". Mariah had better features and flowed better with guest rappers like that Bone Thugs joint or that time when she um, created the genre of Hip-Hop and RnB being featured together in one song as the main single, shyt like that hasnt been done for ages "B", and that's from the heart.

I meant, she made it popular to do so with the Fantasy joint featuring ODB and . So what if it was or wasn't commercial, *GOOD MUSIC IS GOOD MUSIC*. But anyway, I digress becuase this thread is about The Queen of Hip-Hop and Soul, so lets put that lil scrap to bed. Nahmshayin!

Of course artists implemented RnB and Hip Hop elements into one track themselves before lol, but never on the scale of Mariah's Fantasy where it was truly a duet and not just a guest feature or on some sample tip. The song was so original in that regard and ticked all the motherfukking boxes for me. Just my opinion .
