That song was a JD song that featured Jay Z first though. Besides, a JD feature wasn't exactly Southern in the sense that UGK, Juvenile, Eightball & MJG, and Kast were. JD never sounded as Southern as most Southern rappers in both sound and music. Mase sounded more Southern than JD.

It was also a single, a pretty big single, that was on JD's album first. It was a JD song featuring Jay Z. Yes, it appears on Vol. 2, but its moreso a song that features Jay than it was a Jay song.
