Breh i saw a mf get his whip stolen by some meth heads like 7 years ago. Dude walked in the gas station for all of 40 secs and looked and his shyt was GONE

Not for nothing but I'm a little miffed at the generalization of everything as a "mass shooting" nowadays. I know it technically fits the description, but these types of "mass shootings" been going on forever and only recently started being categorized as such, like in the early 2020s.

This is in Richmond, this city has had countless shootings like this in generations past, it was once considered the most dangerous city in America in the 90s.

the assignment of the label “mass shooting” to any and all shootings is because one demographic in this country became infamous for being the primary perpetrator of actual mass shootings.

Last time I went to the bottom nikkas was out there with ARs just posted up chillin. Mfs was flexing open carry extra hard. Cops didnt give no fukks either. But yeah mfs quick to up the pole down there.

I moved from Virginia in 2016, and I've only.been home once since then. That's crazy as hell. People have been getting killed down there for years but from what you're saying it's far worse than it was when I was coming up in my 20s and very very early 30s.

I typically stayed between carytown-museum-fan-jackson ward areas and never ran into issues forreal, would hear about shyt but i was grown ass man so i was primarily just hanging around other professionals and coworkers so we were away from the fukkshyt, went down there a handful of times, shyt was turnt but i also know what turnt end up becoming when some crashouts feelings get hurt


I visited some friends back there like 2 years ago and damn near all the shyt i liked about it was gone anyway

Wait. When victims were black and it wasn't considered a mass shooting (it was called "gang violence" or something), there were blacks that complained because they thought black victims and black problems were being ignored.

mass shooting, as the term was traditionally used, referred to massacres of indiscriminate killing that involved someone randomly targeting large numbers of people for maximum carnage.

almost all of the people who perpetrated crimes of that sort were white.

the term only recently, in the past several years, began seeing its use in discussions of any shootings that involved more than one person.

anyone acting like there wasn’t a motivation behind its redefinition is naive or willfully obtuse.

I'm a VCU alum and grew up in West end/Glen Allen. At VCU we were in shockoe bottom every weekend. shyt definitely happened but I feel like there were more shooting on West Grace than Shockoe but then again I stayed away from those hood ass spots where people were getting killed.

But yeah Cary town, museum, fan were all much safer than Shockoe Bottom. With my friends we were either in the fan or Shockoe to party. Not Cary town much, as the main places we liked were on Main St and not Cary St.

Yes and no. I mean this the first time since I've been going out that I've heard of this many ppl getting shot at once down there. Its usually one or two ppl and its usually cuz mfs beefing and cant handle their emotions. Im usually in the devils triangle or the fan kicking it where the cacs be.

I mean yeah this is probably the biggest mass shooting down there in a very long time but back in the day, mid to late 2000s to the mid 2010s shockoe had murders. A lot of it was people shooting in crowds too.
