Last year when legendary podcast pioneer, Tariq Nasheed was attempting to push his bullshyt diaspora war nonsense into Hip Hop, he put out a documentary which failed to acknowledge one of the pioneers of Hip Hop's creation by omitting Jamaican born King Charles from his documentary because acknowledging King Charles destroys the narrative that it was "only" FBA's during Hip Hop's creation. Me pointing this out to the Coli last year fell on deaf ears because people who never really cared about Hip Hop history wanted to run with this false narrative that it was only FBA's in Hip Hops creation.
King Charles was right there with Flowers and Mario in the late 60's before Kool Herc but Tariq attempted to revise history and purposely left out King Charles in his documentary because he doesn't give a fukk about Hip Hop culture. But Masta Killah is a real Hip Hop representative and acknowledges all three (Flowers, Mario and King Charles along with other 70's DJ's) on the track "Hip Hop Forever" from his new album called "Balance."
It's @ the 2:54 mark but you can let the whole song rock if you never heard it.
