esg got picked up by priority...breh...

the whole reason e.s.g is on the 2nd disc

You're right, I looked it up, but it wasn't Ocean Of Funk (94, not on a major label), it was Sailin' Da South which came out a month before Down South Hustlers on Priority!

it was ocean of funk..

priority laid the blueprint on how to make a buck off the southern underground

ocean of funk..was already a underground classic...swangin n bangin was all over the radio.. the album was out...

priority rereleased the album ..its 2 different versions of ocean of funk..

a couple months later some nikkas ran up in esg spot..with aks...killed esg potna..esg whupped one of the jackers took his gun n killed both..

he went to the pen...they didnt get em for the killin..but they got him for the dope that was in the house..he didnt even get to enjoy the ocean of funk..nor the sailin the south released really nor his deal with priority..

he get out perrion...pretty much went bankrupt...esg didnt get no money..off the albums...master p had a gold plaque n a check waitin on em tho

This is the only album featuring NL artists Fire, Sir True, Polo and CCG (KC duo, who then released their album 100%Game on King George's/TC Costen's indy label)

Bounce That Azz might be King George's last appearance as a No Limit artist

First appearances of Magnolia (Soulja) Slim, Hound Of Gert Town (later Full Blooded), Skull Dugrey and Gangsta T (later Glock of Prime Suspects) on a No Limit release
