She's not getting 50k on her own so why should P pay her 50k to come do 45 second verses on those 2 to 3 songs on HIS SET, and I'm assuming the fee for her is 50k by everyone saying P got paid.
Nobody is booking Mia for 50k. Essence has never booked Mia X, again this is not her show, so her performing 2 to 3 songs, hell verses for 50k is crazy.

I posted this earlier in the thread, ahead of the performance, but the ESSENCE(magazine) fest, is a major event for Black women.
During the phase in hip hop when every rap crew had a 1st lady, Mia X was that for No Limit. And in that venue, her appearance held more weight than the other NL Soldiers you listed.
That would generally be true for most legacy rap crews performing at EssenceFest. The biggest star is the draw, but the cherry on the top is the 1st lady of (insert rap family ) coming out. and ALL the women singing word for word the verses/songs they enjoyed as kids/partygoers

Agree but we really can’t say much without the details. If her demand was too high, then that’s bad that they even put her on the bill before completing the financials.
Now if that’s on P or Essence is another question. From my impression essence is not known for fugaziness or laziness, while P to some degree is.

What you make a show and what you make on a festival is to differnt fees tho.
The crowd is way bigger also.
It’s like when you perform at coochella , compared to your own show.
And I doubt she asked for that much tbh. She said she gave fair price and pretty much was ignored for months til she announced she wasn’t gonna be on the bill.
nikka had a bunch of random with no connection to him performing. I’m sure they got paid.
P legacy gonna always be remembered nasty cause he has no professionalism and does take stuff seriously enough,
