if hes being honest here, i understand. theres a time to bow out and retire. i dont like eminem but he had a point when he said 'nobody wants to hear their grandfather rap'
but on the other hand, it would be cool if older rappers stepped up and made some modern day classics about maturing/growing old in a deep way. jay-z came pretty close with 4:44. maybe DMX could've made it had he lived. chuck D is still out there grinding, but nobody cares about his group anymore sadly. it could happen, maybe.
or maybe not. rap is a young mans game, after all. time will tell
