In an interview with HipHopDX, Master P revisited a time when his fledgling label, No Limit Records, was based in Richmond, California and flirting with the possibility of pursuing West Coast hip-hop star 2Pac. P said he attempted to sign Pac before No Limit relocated to New Orleans and became a household name.

“To be honest wit’chu, at one time, I was thinking about signing Tupac,” P revealed. “[Tupac] was liking the movement of what we was doing, but we wasn’t fully there yet. … That was one little piece that I was looking at like, ‘You know what? This could be alright.’”

“Everybody was interested in No Limit,” P added. “I don’t think there was one person in the music business that wasn’t interested in being a part of that movement.”

think about this the majority of no limit artist that were sign to p in the 90s are no longer affiliated with him....so if 2pac were to hypothetically speaking sign with him. would it be beneficial to him giving the fact that:

Kane and abel are doing there own thing
Mystikal is with Cash Money
Fiend is independent
Mia X is independent
Skull Duggery is nowhere to be found

eevn if you want to argue the snoop dogg being sign to no limit some will say snoop no limit work was some of his weakest

Last Meal is dope & Top Dogg is cool but the majority of those (especially Last Meal) have almost nothing to do with No Limit besides the fact it was released on the label. i think there's only one NL feature on Da Last Meal.
