Prior to P no other artists had done what he did. He had the 85% deal with priority records. He had a clothing line, sold shoes, toys, calling cards. He was also involved in real estate, sports management, movie production. He pioneered the idea of putting all your homeboys on and maximizing your profits by selling more products to an existing customer base.

The dude was a straight G. He inspired many artists and black entrepreneurs. Most people don't realize how much guys like master P, diddy, jayz influence black men to go into business. I salute them all :salute:

:ohhh::mjcry:

breh, why did blacks not follow his route with the independent thing? Even in the internet age it's a no brainer not to sign a deal to a major. P started a damn economic base that put tons of black folks to work. The system wasn't happy and used Cash Money to create a fake rivalry and destroy No Limit.

:whoo:

lmfao, this was the exact song I was gon post the moment I saw this thread. nikkaz just don't know about P, one of the realest nikkaz to ever do it. This man literally got hardened criminals off the streets and on some KLC beats. If you listen to P's songs where he's just being himself he be sayin a lot of real shyt that needs to be heard even now.

A+ thread.

I wish more black people followed Master P's entrepreneurial example.

How much of migos success isnt payola bruh. A "Thizz Movement" doesnt exist "lol . I agree and diagree with that statement because what started out as Thizz has transcended in the likes of The Jacka & Mob Figaz, Keak Da Sneak, Mistah FAB. Jacka who just drop something and Mistah Fab who drop something under Stan Pablo. Thru Jacka label he introduce Joe Blow (who consider by some to be the next best thing from Oakland).

nobody cares about any of this stuff outside of the bay rap market.
