Master P was a young man from the Calliope Projects in New Orleans. he played basketball in high school and went to the University Of Houston on a athletic scholarship. he dropped out of school months into his freshman year and transferred to Merritt College in Oakland to study business. when his grandfather died, he received $10,000 from a malpractice settlement and opened a record store in Richmond, CA called No Limit Records he later decided to create a record label due to finding out about the death of his brother Kevin Miller which made him want to hustle and get out of the hood for the safety of his family. this album was released in 1991 and was sold out of the trunk of Master P's car in Richmond.
