"Mastermind" by Rick Ross drops almost four years ago. What's he gotta do to reach that point again?

Peep the time period. Around that time it was a sound dominating and to adhere to it, he dumbed down his style heavily. Compare his rapping on that to Deeper than Rap (his most lyrical)...night and day.

Plus he BEEN could rap. Look. He got Push a

You said he was complete Trash wish is a lie. He improved but he was good on POM

Mastermind is overrated. I appreciate Ross trying to show growth, but that style doesnt work for him.

I agree...Ross actually tries to RAP....

He doesn't fit in with these drugged out pill popping kids today who ain't trying to rap i.e (lil pump...6-9) etc...

I think he should just remained bossed up on the executive level

Fukk RAPPING

leave it to the kids

This what he has mastered, he can't quit he's still great b.

Mastery of Craft doesn't mean a gottdamn thing in the marketplace

If thier is no longer a high demand for his brand of rapping he needs to keep it moving

Rakim..and Big Daddy Kane are masters as well but commercially thier isn't a demand for them in this contemporary market
