This has been the most difficult one yet but I went with Carpenter just because I love Halloween and The Thing more than I love any of "...the Dead" movies.

I have to go with Carpenter - (even though he beat R. Zombie in the last face off), I won't be biased and close minded, like other posters who will I not name but know who they are.just off Halloween, The Fog, Christine alone, he's ahead of the game and has my vote.

I'm just going off body of work here and Dawn of the Dead is one of my all-time favourite films so this is shytty for me but... Carpenter

He beat Craven. Zombie is is going to lose to Wan.
