What are other examples you can think of of matches that would have been way bigger if they happened earlier or later than they did, in a different company...

The buildup was the weirdest I've seen in my entire life. You're telling me John Cena can't get a WrestleMania match? Everybody's paired off, so nobody wants to make a name for themselves and challenge him? He has to call out a guy in his early fifties who retired a year ago and just had his hip replaced? And then he decides to watch the show as a fan when he can just watch it backstage in the locker room. Did he have to pay for those tickets?

I almost want to give them credit for coming up with such a bizarre storyline and going all the way with it. The match wasn't even official until the night of, so if you came to the show from England or Japan, you would be like wondering if Cena's injured and that's why he's not competing.

I feel like they should have had Shinsuke Nakamura won the WWE Title from Jinder Mahal and had AJ Styles win the Royal Rumble leading to their match at WrestleMania instead of the other way they went with... might have been a better match with the roles reversed.
