I agree with this thread but unfortunately money is needed in this disgusting capitalist machine for human necessities like food, clean water, clothing, and shelter; it is also needed to conduct social activism and educate the masses on a productive level...it doesn't lead to happiness, but it can be a gateway to helping others in society improve their situation through agency

I dont strive to be rich but im putting in the time and hard work now to set my self up for the future so that when I have children in a couple of years they can live comfortably and have everything I didnt have. If I didnt want kids I would be a free spirit travelling the world but im sure that lifestyle would get old fast and you would want to settle down eventually. You need money to settle down, thats just the way our society is set up.
