Matrix Resurrections vs. Spiderman 3: No Way Home - Which one are you more hyped for?

First off, if you're a film snob who hates Hollywood blockbuster films then this thread isn't for you



But between these two movies releasing this month, which one are you most hyped up for?


It's a tough call for me. I feel like SM3 has a higher floor but Matrix 4 has a higher ceiling. Which I mean to say, going by the MCU track record it's almost guaranteed SM3 will be good...it's very unlikely that it'll actually be bad, just a matter of whether it's great or just good. Matrix 4 on the other hand...who knows. It could be a classic like the first Matrix (which would put it over any Spidey move IMO) but it could also be lame like Matrix 3.

The trailer for Matrix didn’t even get me hyped. If it wasn’t for HBO Max, I probably wouldn’t even see this right away

Damn SM3 but it's closer for me than most people.

I'm slightly less hyped about the Matrix because I know I'm not gonna have to jump through hoops to see it. So while it's not nearly as much energy around it I'm really excited to check it at my leisure.

Nothing against Matrix (I’m on both in IMAX opening day), but Spidey and Batman are the gawds

I am a smidgeon down on NWH because Marvel couldn’t ignore the leaks tho. I was ignoring everything then they just spelled it all out in adverts I’ve stayed away from a majority of trailers of both, but once they start putting shyt in commercials
