There hasn't been an economic system tried by Man that didn't have inequality.

What's important, though, is that the ones at the bottom are in decent/good shape.

I mean, what does that really mean tho ?
We didn't have planes until one day...well we did.
We didn't have rockets until one day...well.. we did.
We didn't have electricity, computers, and so on and so on.

We can't say that what's happening now is inevitable if we haven't truly tried anything else.

As we speak right now Corporations essentially have slave labor in third world countries and lots of Black and Brown
people are exploited sexually, monetarily and for their resources. Just saying "Oh well that's just what happens :yeshrug: " is
the epitome of a defeatist mindset and to me doesn't lead to any change in society.

It seems that human society leads to wealth inequality.
Pointing out any given system as being the main culprit while ignoring every other system that has resulted in the same seems disingenuous or...well...ignorant.

Not the in inequality in itself is the Problem, but the levels of it.

If Person A got 1000$ and Person B got 750$ there is no big Problem.

If Person A got a Billion and Person B just got 1000$ we have a big issue.

I have to watch the rest of it. But is this Dutch wealth inequality causing unmanageable debt, poverty, and/or increasing homelessness?

Based on the bit that I saw, it didn't seem to be moving in that direction.

I think wealth inequality is inevitable no matter what system. Look at animal societies someone has more women someone takes more food etc
I don't think that's how animal "societies" work at all breh :russ:

Besides that, saying "wealth inequality is inevitable" is pretty vague - mass wealth inequality is absolutely not inevitable, and is instead part and parcel of our present system,.

There's a MASSIVE difference between someone having two homes instead of one, and someone having 100,000 homes that they leave empty instead of one.

it's inevitable unless we come up with a better system. a hybrid system
