He was the last best n*gga to come from NY since NY had Hip Hop on lock back in the mid 90's. If only dude could've had a chance to put out a couple of albums with production by like J.U.S.T.C.E. League and The Alchemist it would've been great.

from a trademark musical identity to being a character to having his own slang and what not he had everything it took to be a factor in the mainstream...even Jim Jones in the midst of their beef acknowledged that on I think Complex or XXL.com...

French Montana was his little nikka and he's doing well for himself, I imagine Max could be doing double that

I do sometimes think Max would be a little too head strong for his own good though, I wonder if he would've played the ass kissing game so many artists are...

Exactly, he had everything it took to be a great emcee.

As for him being too head strong for his own good, I think if he would've had someone who he respected and looked up too to help advise him on things, he would've been alright.

And as for brown nosing, I doubt it. Max was outspoken and didn't hold back on speaking his mind, so I don't think he would've played that game.

Max acted like he really did just come home from doin 7. So I doubt he was bout to kiss ass. Max woulda been great as an indy artist, that way the wave stays undisturbed and pure.

This is complete bullsh*t. I'm from 145th street and 7th....Harlem to be exact and in 2008 Max B was still considered some Jim Jones flunky. Max B was a sensation on Hip Hop messageboards..and u internet heads always confuse whats popping on the internet with whats really popping in the streets.

The streets knew who Max B was...But the streets weren't bowing down like that. It wasn't till Max B got locked up and sentenced that he started making real noise and that was all based on reputation...Not music. Thats when alll the bandwagon jumping started. I remember all of this because back in 2008 when I did the article on Baby J (Max B's cousin) not one person mentioned Max B.

Ha!....U said Minisink! I haven't been there since the late 90's. Back in 94 it was nothing to see Crazy Sam and Funk Master Flex there...The whole place would be pitch black with the smell of cheap dirt weed in the air and a bunch of teenagers humping and grinding on each other in the middle of the dance floor. Teenagers ran that sh*t. The 90's was totally different...I dont think they could get away with that in 2013.
