I love this movie for all the wrong reasons. It's fukkery on film and King clearly on a coke binge. Just an entertaining flick front to back and the soundtrack is :wow: even if it doesn't fit the movie at all. Man thought he was Hitchcock
Hell yea bro It stays in my movie rotation and I listen to this podcast called dead meat and he had a hilarious joke about the coke binge on is pod about maximum overdrive

Stephen King has so many B movies based off his books. Dude is the Uwe Boll of literature. Never turns down a check :mjlol:

Any time you need to hire someone to make sure you're not repeating yourself, you know you're a hack

:what:

Man....what?

Uwe Boll has never even made a decent movie. Stephen King has actual classic novels and short stories....dozens. If you want to argue he fell off ok cool but you are wilding comparing him to Uwe Boll.

And as far as hiring someone so you don't repeat yourself....I never heard of that in relation to King. But other authors basically do the same thing. GRR Martin has people to remind him what color his character's eyes are.

Adaptation doesn’t work that way homie. He says yes and then has no control over what happens. That’s why he made maximum overdrive because he said he wanted to make a “real” Stephen king movie since everyone else got it wrong. Sometimes they consult with him, sometimes they don’t. But ultimately, it’s out of his hands. That comparison isn’t apt at all
