but like you said, you still have to d/l the updates when you do connect to the internet. the question is if installing it without the internet, and then later d/l'ing updates, saves time vs just doing it all at once

Doesn't really bother me since I'm patient about it and find other things to do when shyt like that happens.

But I can see myself as a youngin' experiencing that. I would have been and trashed my room like I was godzilla waiting for the install.

It does, I think it's because it flags your disc as outdated and just downloads the latest version of the "app".

I know how you feel OP i don't mind the remasters because it doesn't affect me but when newer games drop and are trash shyt gets depressing, hopefully the real next gen arrives in the future

I come from an age where you cop a game, come home, pop it in and play.

Not with xbox one. I cop a game. Pop it in. Oh, the system needs a software update. Ok, it takes me 10 mins to download the software. Can't play the game yet though...have to install it. So I install it and wait....and wait...and wait. 45 minutes in and I'm at 20% download for this $90 game.

Someone come pick this thing up.

I did this with Madden last night, after all that bullshyt it said disc was unreadable, had to bring it back today and get a new disc.

It is annoying knowing you need something to keep yourself busy while your system gets ready for the game

It is impossible to enjoy a gaming session with a pissed off wifey side eyeing me and banging about cos my dumb ass has been chilling getting high since I got home from work. The install/update bizness gives me time to do all my other shyt load up the Kano and get reds
