He’s still on the hot seat for those bribes. It wouldn't surprise me that Trump's actually laughing at him in private because it's definitely looks like Adams is going to kiss his ass to get that case dropped.

Lots of this isn’t really a pivot though. He’s always been a more “conservative” Democrat, which shouldn’t be surprising with him being a former Republican/former cop
