They didn't stop anybody from watching it who wasn't already not going to watch it. ESPN talked about this fight constantly for the weeks leading up to the fight, and that station NEVER talks boxing. Any publicity is good publicity... I guarantee you many more people bought that pay per view based off the ESPN hype than people who didn't based on Beadle or Olberman. You can't really think there were many people who were gonna buy the PPV and decided not to because of the DV thing; those people were never going to buy it anyway. Most of the people talking that shyt either watched anyway hoping Mayweather would lose or they had never really even heard about Floyd before anyway and just wanted a talking point and weren't going to be a customer in the first place.I disagree... Keith Olebermann calling for a boycott,..
Beadle and Rachel nichols antics on fight day. Posting on twitter interviews from 3 years ago about his DV was crazy... This was the biggest fight of the century and even just 1 person going against the grain calling for a boycott was too much
It's been pointed out before, but Floyd's DV only makes it convenient for people voice there hate for him.. Look at all the people in the WWE that have a DV issue and Beadle full fledged supported them and only because she was called out on her hypocrisy she backed down..
All of this "hate" yall keep worrying about isn't actually hurting Mayweather financially; if anything it keeps his name out there even more.
