Let down?.. Pac suffered a critical injury to his rotator and still got 4 possibly 5 rounds against #1 p4p... great performance by both fighters, well worth $100
Which rounds I gave pac 3 at most I thought it was a dope fight 2 alltime greats playing chess I dont understand the extra hate for this fight. nikkas expecting a hagler hearns type fight got no one to blame but themselves. I always picked floyd over manny I just don't think manny is gonna show out vs defensive counter style fighters like floyd. He had issues with a poor mans version of floyd in Marquez for 4 fights floyd is 10x the skill of a JMM. I wanted Manny to go guns blazing I think Floyd could've got a ko but Manny was smart. Floyd set tone with some nice rights that made Manny respect his power. It was a good fight I can rewatch it whenever both them nikkas held it down last decade in diff ways not sure why peeps cant like both

People are gonna downplay the fight, but their entitled to their opinions.. Pac had that shoulder injury and wasn't throwing enough so that was a let down for some.. And if you remember all that talk about how big Floyd was.. how he was working on his power.. nikkas talking like Floyd was gonna destroy Pac on some Gatti shyt.
NO. We got the same Floyd that does the bare minimum to win a round, especially if he feels he's up on points.. so I can see how some people were let down...If you feel Floyd could KO Manny, he definitely wasn't gonna attempt to because that would put himself at risk and Floyd aint never stepping out his confort zone.. It is what it is, I feel like there's more to being TBE in boxing than just winning fights off points..
I like the fact that it was a chess match like you mentioned.. I thought they both did their thing all 12 rounds, Floyd just edged him out
