I swear these clowns don't know that Hammer is the exact fukking opposite of half the bytch made manufactured studio dope boys out today.Watch your tongue
Fukked up the rap game? Along with Run DMC, hammer was the most important artist in hip hop's development, establishing it into a viably commercial artform that rappers could make serious money from.
Crabs that dissed him back in the day know they owe a debt of gratitude to the man. Sure, the KFC commercial was a mistake on his part, but making money so your people can get fed, and helping put hip hop on the map and black men into America's household's is called taking advantage of capitalist opportunities when presented.
He made clean, fun dance music with positive messages that everyone could enjoy.
Hammer is a bay legend. Everyone makes fun of his financial fall, but he went broke because he was taking care of his people and putting everyone in the town on his payroll. c00ns forget where they came from, and change their numbers on people who helped get them to where they are. Not hammer.
The town is LOYAL to hammer. In the 90s when damn near every rapper was throwing salt at hammer, hammer would come thru DEEP and check the nicca to his face, and have them shttin in their draws. They've never seen someone with such a thorough crew of hitters. Redman dissed hammer, but apologized on the spot when Hammer caught up with him. Hammer used his street clout to leverage suge of all people into giving him a record deal. Thats how respected hammer was.

@ fake industry c00ns think shyt is sweet with OGs like Hammer.

Oh and btw he's rebounded just fine and judging by his social media is a dignified black man, raising a family responsibly, not getting in any trouble, always promoting positivity.
