I feel him and I got a Grammy. I never went into music thinking I’d get one so I never got the hype behind it other than a status thing.
I’ve just met so many great musicians in my life all over the planet, when I see some event like an awards ceremony, I feel that’s to cater to egos rather than an actual pulse on what is good or worth a listen.
It’s cool to get recognized but it’s better just to get money.
