A manager at a Minnesota McDonald’s has been charged with raping a 14-year-year old employee in the eatery’s cooler.
Maple Grove resident Andrew O. Albertorio, who worked at a branch in the same city, has been charged in Hennepin County District Court with five counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, according to the Star Tribune.
Albertorio, 24, remained jailed on Tuesday. He allegedly began flirting with the girl after she started working at the McDonald’s over the summer and then tried to kiss her in November, but she reportedly pushed him away. She told him she didn’t want to have sex since she was too young, according to the complaint.
Then in December, Albertorio allegedly cornered the teen in the walk-in cooler of the fast food joint, started to touch her and said he wanted to have sex. He then allegedly pulled down her pants and raped her despite her objecting.
The night manager allegedly raped the teen over the next month in the McDonald’s cooler, bathroom, in his car and at his home.
According to the Star Tribune, prosecutors will push for a long sentence if there’s a first-degree criminal sexual conduct conviction.
