Anyone else feel like Pete's legacy kind of gets overlooked today, compared to other legends like Premo and RZA? Pete was on fire throughout the 90s and proved he could do multiple types of hip hop, and other genres. But today when many rap cats discuss their favorite producers it revolves around RZA, Premo, Dilla, Pimp C, etc.
I feel the same way about Q-Tip. Amazing producer/engineer who still makes heat (seriously, Nas should make him exec producer of his next album IMO...) but you never hear him discussed
