Medical Marijuana Card, anyone have a recent experience getting one?

I'm in OH, wondering what this is like for anyone who has recently applied for one in your state?

I called and was told you have a tele-visit with a doctor who reviews your case, and if approved, files with state.

I plan on going through a service that says it will refund your money if not approved.

Anyone else do this? Thanks!

Did that here in NYC a couple of years back..

Give them any b.s. symptoms: migraines, body pain, etc

You get the paperwork from them through email, then just send it to the state for your card.

As long as you got the $$, you're approved

When I got one, all I did was walk in the building, make my appointment and request on the spot. Then went from the lobby to the "exam room", which was the only other room in the building, facetimed a doctor who was in Socal (I was in Frisco) for 15 minutes. Told him I had anxiety and insomnia. He asked some random questions that amounted to nothing and I paid him $50. Did all that and got my paperwork within 30 minutes and went right to Igzactly420 to cop a quarter.

I love California, even before it become recreational.

It should be easy to obtain the card/recommendation though....just pay the fee and you should get it...

It's interesting seeing how different states handle their medicinal marijuana.

I'm from California and don't have one now but when I did over a decade ago it was impossible for you to not get one.

At no point did my health come up during my "evaluations" outside of some bullshyt paper work you fill out in the beginning.

Have you gotten the sense that Ohio expects some type of actual preexisting health condition?

I still get mines everytime I go to Cali. Even though it's 100% legal out there, you get to avoid the taxes on the bud if you got your MMJ Card.

There is a listing of conditions and I can make a case for 1 or 2 under the non-official listings I believe
They are really bad though

They have revised rules though and may be able to qualify under new listing

Ohio adds 3 new qualifying medical marijuana conditions

The Ohio State Medical Board approved Huntington's disease, terminal illness and spasticity to the list.
