i used to be aboe to reach this state where it was complete silent in my head no thoughts just pure awareness. and it was amazing. as good as any weed ive smoked :lolbron: but i stopped for like a year and now i cant reach that state anymore. my mind is going 100mph all the time. i can barely focus on 3 full breaths now before i lose focus.

is it just a matter of more practice? last time i picked it up pretty quickly but so far i cant reach that state anymore. its a liberating feeling.

Don't chase your thoughts or actively try to calm your mind.

Be the observer.

Identify your SELF, you are not the you that's thinking those those thoughts....they are just thoughts .....YOU are the you that is observing the thoughts.

Just peacefully sit and observe and your mind will quiet.
