As a reformed Luda stan and someone who can barely tolerate Mediocre Sean, it took me a while to realize this. When they first beefed over that atrocious rap style (it's going down.. Basement :beli: ) I knew then and there they were both extremely corny brothers. Nothing wrong with that, everybody can't be cool but fighting for credit over THAT flow is absolutely hilarious in hindsight.

Anyway, that track Luda did as a jab to set the record straight was dope. Mind you I haven't heard it since it came out so it might be ass too at this point but from what I recall he was rapping well and addressed the situation perfectly. I don't recall Basic Sean ever responding.

As the careers panned out tho, neither put out a classic album so it's probably going to come down to preference but albums im taking DSP over anything in Luda's discog, IDFWU single wasn't as big as goofy shyt like Stand Up! But I can absolutely listen to IDFWU more than that silly shyt.

I like Sean's singles more, I like his fun yet serious approach more than just straight up bozo flow Luda, I think the pen is a wash when they're both tryna really get in their bag, album/mixtape quality I got Sean edging him out pause.

I think it's close enough to be a respectable discussion, but based on coli demographics I think I know how this poll will go :francis:

I guess im a rarity that was a fan of both Luda first 4 albums and Sean debut and Dark Sky Paradise albums. In the end Word of Mouf is still one of my fav albums ever so Luda > Sean

I feel you but man nostalgia has fukked me up so many times I always factor it in before making a decision. When's the last time you went back and listened to them 4 albums? I was alive, in real time, burning CDs for all them shyts breh I loved them too. I was also a child in elementary school. Listening to that sht as a grown ass man is scust. And that's the difference with Sean to me. Both make fun music but Sean remembers he is an adult and adults are the ones with money so let me try to be serious. Luda just leaned all into the gimmick except for his dope album cuts ( Diamond In The Back, brehs :wow: )

Maybe you feel differently, but my palette has changed drastically since he first came out, and I'm sure a lot of that has to do with losing my virginity.

I voted Big Sean.

Just the record 'One Man can change the World' In my opinion is better than anything I have ever heard Ludacris on.

Hell no, and I like Sean :yeshrug:

War with God >

Wasn't Sean one of them ones, together with SayDrake, ducking Luda's smoke when they made fun of one of his lines?

Edit, here we go:

Oh yeah, this is the song I was referring to when I said he addressed the situation. They made fun of a trash line but there was also a debate over who came up with that ridiculous "I'm feeling like a fakkit...Ru Paul!!" rhyme scheme. Dap and Rep for posting the song im about to listen again.

You prefer Ludacris sounding like a Disney character villain rapping his plans to take over the world over Sean's slightly monotonous yet clean, smoother flow? It does all come down to preference I just thought we all agree that cartoon rap flow is lame after you graduate from Middle School :skip:
