There needs to be another producer to come in and do this sound. Dude is literally is using the same exact sounds and melodies at this point.

But as a producer I can't blame Mustard. Producers are going to make beats that sound like each other. If Im making x beats a day for an entire month, then of course a good majority of them will sound alike. The problem is the rappers they see that a specific sound is popping on the radio and ask the producer for a beat that sounds "like this one". And that's what they get. At the end of the day, the rapper controls the songs that get put out there because they're the ones who make them

I think part of it has to do with the fact that he doesn't have time to evolve.

He can't keep up with all the requests hes getting so every artist just comes in and gets whats on the table trying to capitalize without building something new.

Great point. He'll be here for at least another year so, that's generally how things work. Then he'll get that one big feature ala Miley Cyrus/Mike Will and completely jump the shark
