The album is solid. Better than I expected, but that's not saying much. The numbers seem a lil shady though, I'm from Philly, and the album has next to NO buzz, and that's from dudes who would bootleg the album let alone people who'd actually buy it. That Nicki stimulus could be very real, or as I suspect, this whole drop out of nowhere with no marketing has labels using the traditional marketing budget to buy up even more of their artists' albums than they usually would. Every artist that dropped out of nowhere is suddenly selling more albums than they ever did, fukk out it's a cool new trend but after B did it, and Cole capitalized off it, it was played out. My money would be on the labels buying these albums and deflating the album sales, and their artists' "star power" in the process.
Just wana add, I hate to sound like a hater, I have the utmost respect for Meek and what he's accomplished coming from and making it out of Philly, but I'm not much of a fan of his music.
