Meek Mill’s ‘Dreams Worth More Than Money’ Wins Top Rap Album at 2016 Billboard Music Awards

Though ABC didn’t air any of the hip-hop winners of the 2016 Billboard Music Awards tonight, a couple rappers still took home some awards – including Philly’s own Meek Mill.

Dreams Worth More Than Money took home the Top Rap Album of the Year award, beating out Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, Dr. Dre’s Compton, Drake and Future’s What a Time to Be Alive and Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.

A lot of Drake stans (not fans, stans) are upset over this. I find it ridiculous that they'd still feel personally attacked after almost a year later. If they were really as secure as they're claiming to be, they should be cool with Meek getting his wins.

drake singing half his album as usual with other nikkas pens
drake and future maybe but that was a mixtape and not as good as meeks
compton was a damn compilation soundtrack full of nikkas
kendrick maybe but was he rapping or jazz skatting
meek was RAPPING... song in, song out... it was a fukking rap album
