Securing series A funding, $10 million, is decent for a first stage start-up company

I say this as someone who has worked in Silicon Valley

Im currently doing a Computer Science BS and I'm particular interested in the fields of Computer Vision and Autonomous Vehicles/Systems. I see alot of AI/Machine Learning and Robotics software job postings preferring Masters and PhDs though

Master's w/ projects is baseline for most regions.

I would look into doing the thesis track and selecting a professor who has industry friendly research.

It doesn't hurt to have a 'failed local start-up' on your resume as well.

This shows Leadership, Risk, Applied Theory etc..
