So no one is interested at how he achieved success or what gems of advice & inspiration he might have? Or how he's puttin other brehs on? His job is literally making other rich cacs richer and no better or worse than being in any other field, entertainment or otherwise

At acting like what he does has any benefit to humanity as a whole

I salute breh for his work ethic and determination tho but let's not act like it's anything other than what it is

I realize this is a fluff piece but it makes me sick. Was there any fact checking or just reiterating the same lines Mr. Smith has been spewing to every investor and company acquisition: "the cell phone salesman turned millionaire as a result of Vista"?

- Vista's returns are not impressive. The less ethical you are, the easier it is to make higher returns. No legitimate financial organization would invest with Vista knowing their business practices. They could never get public entity investors with the practices they employ.

- They acquire companies, force the employees to sign a draconian 2 year non-compete if they want to keep their job, and then systematically fire them (regardless of performance) over two years as part of their "playbook". They replace them with younger/cheaper individuals. Is it impressive if you fire the 50 year old (with 3 kids) who made $100 K last year and replace him with a cell phone salesman and pay him $80 K?

- They take a similar approach with client contracts, hiking pricing to force them to sign a long term contract to lower annual pricing increases.

- They will not reveal how to employees how they perform on the personality test but it will cap your ability to rise within the organization or to move to different departments. Creepy.

I could go on.

It's bad enough the world has to deal with these unethical characters without having to see publications make them seem like heroes.
