But in the end, it does hurt the gaming market. Same with emulators of newer game consoles that are still on market... There used to be a rule about emulators but that seems to have gone out the window with the wiiu and 3ds emu
If new systems are being emulated on the pc, then i think devs should focus on pc games more instead.. just do digital releases..

Digital releases hurt consumers. Having a physical copy of a game means you own that game for as long as you have it. where as digital releases can be revoked at the discretion of the distributors.

Steam has pulled games, PSN has pulled games, Live has pulled games... once a digital only game is taken away, its gone for good...

think back to the DLC issue, where some games on the OG Xbox & 360/PS3 had their DLC removed. its lost forever now. Hell there was a digital distribution system back in the 90s that SEGA & Nintendo each had...

When digital dies, where does that leave game preservation?

Nothing Lasts Forever: Confronting the Problem of Video Game Preservation

Digital only distribution is not where we should be heading... It only serves to benefit companies while hurting consumers

215 Uptown!
Yea you can get free vita games now but the memory card format the vita uses it's expensive as hell for a big enough memory card to fit everything.

Luckily i copped a vita off someone off craigslist for 75$.
