You just put it on in the shower after you finish washing. Goes on smooth and no mess or stickiness. Pat dry when you get out and the moisture will be locked in. You can lotion on top of the oil if you want but you shouldn't need to.

I use Palmer's but I've heard good things about Vitamin E oil. Some people also use baby oil.
