it's just a social club for black women over the age of 30.

This is true for 99% of other churches, but the one this event was held at is a very young congregation.

It's basically all the 18-30yo models, singers, actresses, dancers who move to Hollywood. Finest group of black women I've ever seen...and I graduated from an HBCU.

Yeah in your simple little mind of course it could mean anything. I don't expect you to understand. I'm just pointed out the bible does talk about a dress code for women. And i even pointed out the scriptures that state that harlots aka hoes have their own apparel too. The problem is we got christian women out here dressing like hoes. You can't tell which from which these days

Folks still arguing about this? Or is this a atheist/non Christian vs Christian argument? Like many things I wouldn't expect non Christians to agree with that sentiment (dressing modestly) at all. But truth be told its not really justifiable to be claiming to be a Christian AND preaching celibacy while also clearly selling your sexuality in a blatant way. I said the same thing with that Jumping the Broom movie way back when. TD Jakes produced it but you had blatant scenes with Paula Patton in her draws and Meagan Goode on the beach in a bikini top. In a normal movie I wouldn't criticize it but these cats are trying to claim they're promoting Christ while inviting folks to lust at these women. Its not a compatible message. Like 'yo be celibate and don't be ruled by desire and by the way peep these titties'.

In the movie it was a throwaway scene of her walking the beach and there was no need for her to be in a bikini top if that makes sense. Again, if it was a regular movie its whatever, but the movie was made by a 'pastor'. Why, then have her in something that's going to have 98% of the men watching it like ? That 'pastor' is purposefully selling sex to the people he's supposedly preaching Christ to in a society where men (and women) are sold sex constantly and (according to the church) sexually promiscuity/immorality is a big problem. Its blatant hypocrisy.
