Think about it this way: If a vaccine is developed by next year it will be the fastest turn around time on a vaccine in the history of mankind. Usually a vaccine takes 10 years to produce. Do you want to be first in line for such a hastily produced vaccine? I will take my chances without it. Once there is an effective treatment the vaccine doesn't matter much anyway.
