Long term is anything beyond one season..Yeah for this current season the Bulls would have been better (not no contenders tho) but beyond that Knicks > Bulls

Drose, jimmy,Pau,Taj and Mirotic...you not winning a ship with that. Add to the fact Jimmy and Pau wouldn't even be there had Melo signed

if melo was 25 i might agree with you but he's not. cap space means nothing if you just sitting on it. now if they sign aldridge its a diff game. but i wouldnt overpay for monroe or milsap.

Jimmy just had a 6 game series where he put up 21, and held Bron to sub 40% shooting and is just entering his prime

Not sure why you would prefer a 31 year old Melo, especially if Niko is included

It was waaay more to the deal then a pick and expiring, which besides Boozer (nobody was taking on his contract) what expiring did the Bulls even have to offer
