I'm a Knicks fan and I've been saying this since January.
Miami gives him the best shot to win, will pay him enough and he gets to play catch and shoot with Lebron (who he plays well with). And just like Lebron's persona ultimately got over the "oh he had to join two other stars to win" Melo's will be fine as well.

Like I said, it makes sense on allot of fronts and it was obvious when you watched him hanging out with Bron & D.Wade at the all star game what was taking place.
