Wanted cats like Kanye/Dre/RZA/Toomp/Juicy J/Q-Tip/Timbo and a whole bunch of rappers. He thought it would be too much money and hard to perform songs for shows and tours that all featured people so he never finished it...

I remember I think Guru was quoted in an article right after WTT talking about Jay working on a concept album with a concept he couldn't believe nobody had thought of before. This is what I figured it would be. It'd be a great album if done right. Maybe in each city get a young, up and comer, a dude doing his thing in the mainstream currently and a legend.
