Bleek said some real shyt, Biggie while he may have dropped 2 classics and some classic verses and songs, he didn't get the opportunity to release more material so in that sense it's an uneven playing field. Biggie was a great, but Pac was a great with a huge body of work, and Vlad was correct when he says the social message Pac had resonated more with a lot of people. Many things come and go but the truth is eternal, many of Pac's songs were eternal timeless truths and that's why his music is ageless. But both deserve high respect though.

I'm not sure if that was Big's style, he had an element of it at times but he seemed to be more of a storyteller, party MC, aggressive content and rhyming type shyt, hustler shyt than really social content. Biggie was great at what he did though and not everybody needs to have that social content, Big's role was ill for what he did, but normally it's the MC's with that kind of social content that resonate with people even further and often get highly regarded cause their music takes on a greater social significance and has merit in a variety of ways, either as a documentation of the times or in the sense it's timeless issues.

I probably overall heard Pun do more social type shyt than Biggie, it would just be within the rhymes deeply so some people may not have caught it, but something like the song Capital Punishment was ill, not to mention Hidden Hand.

I hear what you saying, but Pac came from that lineage with the black panther party in his family so it was easier for him to do those kind of songs so young. He camw up on those values, big was a lil different. I really believe Pac ain't care about the bread as much. He just wanted ppl to listen and gave ppl a voice that probably would of never got heard.

Big dropped like 40 classic songs, even if he had only 2 (long ass) albums he still has more music I'd listen to than Pac. Majority of Pac's discography is sloppy filler.
