You're married or in a very long-term relationship and well-entrenched with your wife's family.

Your wife's close relative/sibling asks you for money.

(Coli disclaimer: this ain't some weird Soul Food plot, no one's hitting on you or testing you)

What are your actions/words after the ask, and your decision? Does it matter if it's a man or a woman?

Women, your fam member asks your man/husband for money under similar circumstances. What are your expectations/actions on the part of your man and your relative?

I'd have ask to what's the money for then I'm asking how much.

Under $500, because they currently don't have it for a timely move. This isn't the first time this specific relative has ever asked you. They expect to pay you back/undefined timeline.
why you letting them ask your husband? you should be the mediator and let them know if ya'll (as a couple) have it or not

you really need advice for something like that?

unless you're one of those funny ass nikkas to whom nothing is so holy as a dollar, what's the big deal?

if you have it to lend and believe they'll pay you back, again, what's the big deal?
