A24 is upping their game in atmospheric psychological horror and giving Blumhouse the competition this year I see

This was too abstract for me. It felt more like a Lar Von Trier project, who I loathe. There were some great tense moments and certainly interesting commentary about women and their place in the world, their safety, the different types of violence and threats they face but yeah, too esoteric to really make a meaningful impact. Also don't like that the protagonist's abusive husband was the only Black man in the film. 3/10
