If her mother stayed with her father, there’s a higher chance the daughter thinks like this. To add on though, men don’t have to be unhappy to stay married. They see it ass something men are supposed to do and shouldn't be optional - that you're supposed to marry some woman somewhere and the only question ought to be "which one?". [ETA: And alot of them don't even like that men would "ask for", or "look for" a certain woman. They want men to get with whichever woman is within arm's reach. That would help every woman get paired off.]
I feel like this video is only applicable for certain types of marriages that are foundationally solid. Some issues can't really be resolved with time, with new friends or a new hobby, especially if communication is present or you just happen to grow apart. Yes, marriages will have their ups and downs but no one should sacrifice years because it just leads to cheating, resentment and a sexless marriage.
