Yes, men can get yeast infections, too, which can lead to a condition known as balanitis — inflammation of the head of the penis.

Yeast infections in men are common because the fungus that causes yeast infections (candida) is normally present on skin, especially moist skin. When some contributing factor — such as having sex with a female partner who has a vaginal yeast infection — causes an overgrowth of candida, infection can result.

Balanitis is more common in uncircumcised men. Signs and symptoms of balanitis may include:

• Moist skin on the penis, possibly with areas of a thick, white substance collecting in skin folds
• Areas of shiny, white skin on the penis
• Redness, itching or a burning sensation on the penis

You may be more likely to develop balanitis from a yeast infection if you:

• Aren't circumcised
• Use antibiotics for prolonged periods
• Have diabetes
• Have an impaired immune system, such as with HIV
• Are overweight
• Practice poor hygiene

Most male yeast infections are easily treated with over-the-counter antifungal medications.

If you and your partner both have symptoms of a yeast infection, it's important that you both be treated to avoid reinfecting each other.

Then again i never knew men could have UTI's until i had it a few times and was convinced this chick gave me some type of STD.
Even tho my doctor kept telling me it wasnt an STD i was pissed and was ready to hunt down that only brawd i knew i fukked raw . After I had it a few times my doctor was like "okay if you wont take my word (which is backed up by test results) for it i'm referring you to a Eurologist just because".

The eurologyst confirmed that what i was getting was indeed UTI's... so i had to apologize to the chick and my doctor
The chick just laughed it off and said "we cool. Now you owe me dinner..."
My doctor was like "No offense taken. But I'm curious what you be doing out there that has you convinced you have an STD everytime these come up"
I was like "mind ya business, doc"
But doctors told me that i should make an effort to pee within a couple of hours from having sex. Bad thing is i rarely pee since i dont drink enough water so to me peeing more than twice in a day is a lot.
