i honestly didn't believe in mental game back then. i thought in a 5 on 5 fast paced game nikkas didn't have a time to think. but i was dead wrong. these nikkas think too much.

we see time after time. nikkas missing free throws in a critical situation. missing an easy fg. it's all mental.

that's why MJ Is the GOAT to me brehs. and that's why Kobe is my 2nd favorite nikka. i like killers. this game needs killers who deliver in the crunch time. harden just doesn't have it

This is what the game is sorely lacking right now. How are we going to see these kind of players with dudes team hopping or team stacking to have easier paths to titles? I want to see the best vs the best. The killers and the pretenders will be more transparent and exposed when the best talent is spread out.

Y'all gotta stop rewriting history!

MJ came up short many times.

The Celtics and Pistons stayed whooping his ass.

In game 5 of the 89 series between the Bulls and Pistons MJ ONLY SHOT THE BALL 8 TIMES!!

He only scored 18 points and had 4 crucial turnovers as the Bulls got worked out the playoffs.

If the Coli was around nikkas would have been roasting MJ. But since the internet didn't exist ppl like to sweep those L's under the rug:stopitslime:

Maybe you didn't watch that game because I did. He was getting triple teamed by the Pistons breh basically every time he touched the ball. And we're talking the Bad Boy Pistons, so while MJ didn't have a great game overall, he still dropped 18 points (9 assists), 10 more than LeGM did in a finals breh. The Pistons were the better team, and the Bulls went through a battle with the Cavs (the shot over Ehlo), and a battle through the Knicks.

Yeah go figure much better teams like the Celtics and Pistons beat a team that wasn't as good except for MJ. What a shock.

The point is that everyone knows MJ didn't bat 1.000 but he wasn't ever scared of the moment, he never mentally checked out. And that's why he has so many memorable plays, because he wanted it.

To be elite in any field you must be mentally superior than your opponents. You need to be Kobe-like in that you just can't be emotional about outcomes.

Lol!

So Jordan is the only player ever to get double and triple teamed??

Sounds like yall love making excuses for him.

Superstars have bad games/series in the playoffs like Harden did last night.

Jordan had bad games as well is all I'm saying but yall have mystified dude to cartoon character hero status:mjlol:

Any Superstar today has those numbers he had that game against Detroit while losing The series in todays social media age is getting roasted PERIOD.

:snoop: You didn't watch that game

You do know that MJ has never scored less than 15 points in a playoff game, the only player who can say that. He also never scored less than 20 in a Finals game, also the only one who can say that.

Yes, players can have bad games, but there's a difference when you're mentally weak, when you've checked out. That was Harden last night, that was Bron in 2011 Finals. Those Pistons weren't just good, they were great. They were better than the Bulls that year. Yeah MJ has had bad games but he didn't shrink mentally.

Ur confusing having a bad game with being mentally weak. Of course Jordan had bad games every player does, but you can't point to one instance where Jordan checked out of the game mentally, he was NEVER afraid of the moment.

Bron in 2011 and this 2017 Harden are perfect examples of this, you could see it in their eyes that they wanted no parts of these situations. They were scared, Jordan was never scared.

Didn't know this, definitely adds even more to the legend.

People seem to have forgotten that this one happened :troll: :sas2:

Still the ultimate choke job
The one people forget about is the title against the Spurs. Lebron had a horrendous end of the game after beasting early in the 4th of game 6. A couple bad turnovers, a brick of a three pointer. Had folks saying he choked until Ray Allen hit that big 3 to tie it.

Biggest misconception ever, he wasn't shook at anything what's there to be shook of in basketball especially today's game where you can't put hands on someone. He just caught on at some point there was no point in trying because it was a forgone conclusion the league was going to make it up to Dallas for 06 and lebron/wade & em we're goin to pay for prematurely celebrating in the white saviour dirk's face.
Why you jbo dungeon dwellers keep coming in here and making shyt up:gucci:
