You can't blame him tbh. There are investors that want certain things and that's out of his control.

He is a manager with a proven track record in Britain and overseas and he's won trophies I think it's more so the current squad's fault.

this spineless team you talk about is entirely his creation. the fact that bellerin was better two years ago than he is now is also his fault. he's not developing young talent anymore and the first to notice that was french players and that's why even though a golden generation of really young french talent has been coming through for the past 6 years arsenal hasn't signed any of them because those who knew him best stopped fukking with him. we use to have first dibs.

what's his proven overseas track record? it's fitting that he's retiring without a european trophy. he said this the other day about how the next manager needs to "commit completely and totally like he owns the club. There is no other way." no he doesn't. i've long suspected that he spent like it was his money and he confirmed it. the next manager needs to come in and say i need this and that and you get it for me. the key is knowing how you want to play and the type of player you want. arsenal had more than enough money in summer 2015 and were the only club in europe not to buy an outfield player. that's gross neglect and then leicester city won the title that year.

arsenal's wage bill was twice that of athletico madrids and here we are. i guess a team with a 200m wage bill should be competing with the burnleys of football.

and this is what i don't get about xhaka, he's clearly a big strong dude, but yet he plays like a pansy. this burnley fukk tried to take him out and had the advantage of seeing xhaka while xhaka couldn't see what was going on behind him and it's the burnley fukk that's injured while xhaka is still playing. you're big and strong dude play like it. stop trying to play like xhabi alonso when you're built to play like vieira.
