I’d like to welcome you to our beautiful website. We are excited to read your opinions and different points of view. I’ve come up with some tips to help you along the way.
1. When you get negged for being new don’t get upset. Hold it down and keep posting. There are members who’ve been here for 10 years. Your rep and daps won’t sky rocket over night. Put the work in.
2. DO NOT be so eager to make threads. Participate in other threads and get your name up. You’re still new and that rookie tag will get your rep gunned up and clapped quick if you make a trash thread.
3. IF you do happen to make a thread, be mindful of the vibe on this website. We just had a new poster banned for making over 4 threads in 30 minutes that were about nonsense.
Thread content. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT make a thread with alt right talking points or incel babble. The rookie @Hicam got banned for bashing single mothers. There was no effort put into that thread. It was obvious trolling. If you plan to speak on controversial topics bring facts and data.
4. To all the trolls, learn the game before you get on the court. Be funny, witty, and know when to tone it down. You’re a rookie and bringing too much attention to yourself this early will get your rep gunned up and clapped quick. A ban is also a possibility.
5. RESPECT CHAIN OF COMMAND. I’ve survived on this site for years because I respect the mods and the Coli OG’s. A mod gives you a warning or puts your thread in the bushes just accept it and move on. Do better next time.
6. We are not Reddit, Niketalk, boxden, or KTT. Things run differently over here and we like it that way. You will not change the culture on this website. You will get down with it or lay down. We’ve had registration closed for years and we’ve been fine. @Brooklynzson thank you for letting some new blood onto the site. Some of us been putting in work for so long it’s got to a point where we like to see other people do dirt. Happy posting to all the rookies of 2022!
