Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Castlevania: We byke?

Konami is set to revive Metal Gear, Castlevania and Silent Hill | VGC

The first of these titles will be a new Castlevania game, which sources described as a “reimagining” of the series currently in development internally at Konami in Japan, with support from local external studios.

There’s been much speculation that Demon’s Souls studio Bluepoint could be working on a remake of Metal Gear Solid. However, VGC was told the series is actually being worked on by an external studio, Virtuous.

Finally, multiple Silent Hill games are currently in development at various external development studios, as per an earlier VGC report from February.


We'll see how much of this actually plays out but I'd be ok if we even went 1 for 3 on these.

Konami killed A LOT of goodwill this past decade.

But if Capcom can redeem themselves, I’ll give them a chance as well. Even tho my faith in them are at a all time low and the chances of this rumor being some monkey paw shyt is at a all time high.

I doubt it. the last mainline castlevania that i know of was Grimoir of souls and it was pretty much ass. this came out after the original creator left konami.

Ever since then, they've just been releasing rehashes of older games in the series.

Konami ain't got that magic touch like it used to have.

I mean just look at what they tried to do with the MGS series with metal gear survive. Game was straight ass.

They need to start focusing creating new ip and leave the classics behind.
